Wonder Woman 1984: Does the sequel has more than one villain?
Wonder Woman is coming back in action and this time, the scene is set in the 80’s. At the 2019 Comic-Con Experience of Sao Paulo Brazil, Gal Gadot showed up to give her fans what they wanted. The trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 was shown to the audience and it got a tremendous amount of applause from the fans.
Digging down the trailer, we saw the Amazonian princess who now lives in the post-World War 1 world as a human being named Diana Prince. At the start of the trailer, she is seen talking to an innocent-looking lady named Barbara Minerva and we all know how this story is going to turn pages. We will see the former Saturday Night Live cast member Kristen Wiig playing the role of Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah who is the antagonist in the Wonder Woman comics and a popular character. Cheetah will be appearing on screen for the first time.
We also saw the love interest of Diana Prince in the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer. Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) returns in the trailer in the setting of 1984. In the first installment of Wonder Woman 2017, we saw Steve die in the plane crash at the end of the movie. Fans are wondering how did he come back alive and also in a completely different time.
Pedro Pascal will also be seen in the movie playing the main villain Maxwell Lord. So, Wonder Woman 1984 is going to present to its fans two villains and this will surely be loved by the fans.
We hope that the DCEU doesn’t go with the Winter Soldier kind of story as the Wonder Woman is a unique story from the studio. When DCEU was giving bad movies with major characters of its comics, Wonder Woman was the one who saved the day and put DCEU again on the right track. And after that, it has produced many hits like Aquaman and Shazam.
Some time ago, the director of Wonder Woman 2017 and its sequel Patty Jenkins posted a tweet that they will start the campaigning for Wonder Woman 1984 in December. And after that, the studio posted a sneak-peak of the movie’s first look that made the fans rolling with excitement.

Gal Gadot also told the audience at the Comic-Con 2019 in Sao Paulo Brazil that after the first Wonder Woman movie, Diana was alone as she lost all her friends including her boyfriend Steve Trevor. So she is now ready to fight every possible threat that is coming towards her people and her country.
